Unite Against Violence (UAV) is a community-based violence intervention organization led by Dr. Kenyatta "Nicole" Patrick. They work with individuals at the highest risk of gun violence using community outreach workers and street intervention teams trained in evidence-based methods.
Their programs address root causes through education, trauma-informed care, and community engagement initiatives. With a 63% expected reduction in shootings, their approach is making a measurable difference in Chicago communities.
